A short List of Videos for You to Watch First
There is lots of material out there and I will be the first to admit that what I have gathered may not be perfect. However, there are some things that may give you (BEN) a jump start before you get lost in the weeds or in the official stuff. Passing is the goal and the official site offers some good resources but there are other places. There are just a few videos here to help you with an overview of each area from test prepares perspectives and some tips and tricks that may help you.

On the page like this one for Kate (Called GED Resources and linked here as well as in the main menu), we have provided a page for each Test Area with links to videos or PDF’s that may be helpful for learning the material that will be coved on each test.
For you, however, we have tried to include one or two videos (not a whole play list) right in each box below that give an overview of the Test itself and/or hints and tricks, like what to ship and where to concentrate time. These videos may or may not be included in the playlists we have compiled for Test Takers like Kate and Remi and Derek. Each of whom have different strengths and weakness. We also suggest that you have Kate sign-up right away. She can get to the official GED page on any page on this site and you can get to it on this page. It is right below the line with the star. Just scroll down and it will be there. There is good material on the official site…. But!.
We suggest that you get Kate prepared to take the Civics Test first because it is really easy and will be an easy win for her and a great introduction to the Social Studies Test. Which is the second easiest to pass on the first try. That may be a good second test. However, whatever test it is, the next thing to have her do would be to take the GED Ready Test for that test. This approach will give you and her a look at what her strengths and weaknesses are, what the tests look like, and will help with finding resources for specifics later.
One of the Best Over All sites for the 4 main tests is the GET SUM MATH site.. A good thing for you to look at some time later. For right now, the links below are good introductions for the tests.
